You mean cooking vinegar or the concentrated one?

Whatever I steal from my wife.  Looks like 5% acetic acid in the bottle.  Dilute to 2.5%.

I tried rubbing it with a soft cloth dipped in vinegar and water but there was no difference unfortunately…
Thanks for the info anyway!  :763:

I ordered Meguiar’s quik clay to give it a try.
It will arrive in 2-3 days.
If I can’t remove the stains with it, I will probably take the F900 to a detailing shop and ask to clean it if it is possible and after that to ceramic coat it.

    Sort of…
I managed to clean some of the stains with clay
But with most of them, I just got used to them.
Im afraid that if I over do it I might damage the paint.
Its 50% better than it was in the photos now.

Im back with 2 new stains…
Anyone with any idea about what could it be?
It is a bit sticky but not oily…
So I guess it is not brake fluid.
It does not smell like fuel or similar.
    Could it be tree sap?
But I can’t imagine how it got there because it is under the tank over the clutch cover.
Maybe something from an insect or bug?

That spot was a dirt trap on my old 800gs and it still is on the 900xr.  Somehow road debris just ends up there over time.  I wouldn't worry about it.

    Thanks for the quick reply!
If it is not dripping from the engine or some other component, I am happy
