LED Lights Added
on: October 27, 2021, 05:11:03 PM
I added 2 small (2"), yellow LED lights to Goldie.  Their purpose is to make Goldie more visible to others.  I powered them from a "FuzeBlock" placed where the tools were.  The picture of the lights on does not do them justice, they are MUCH brighter in person.
I got the 12V switched source from the 7.5 fuse by attaching a "Positap" to the red/black stripe wire.  The lights come on when the ignition is turned on and go off about 1 minutes after the ignition is turned off.

Great placement.  What brand are they and was it easy to install them. I mean the mounting on the bike not the wiring as I have a canbus will use that.

Lights came from Amazon: Ourbest Motorcycle Driving Lights, 2inch Spotlight LED Fender Fog Lights for Motorbike ATV Bicycle Accent Off Road Lighting (10W Yellow )
Mounting was easy.  I removed the air duct covers, drilled a 1/4" hole and used a large fender washer on the inside and outside of the cover for strengthening.  I painted the mounting bracket and fender washer black to blend in.
