OEM Auxiliary Lights - are they good?

Thinking of adding these, for increased visibility - anybody have them on?  how do you like them?  I got pricing today at my local Motorrad, $640 CDN installed..ouch.

Heard mixed results in answers on this same question.

I have a set that I am wanting to get installed this weekend. Will let you know how I get on.

I also noticed that the OEM lights stipulated under F900 XR/R parts list are labelled "nano" lights - these might be smaller/different than what seems to be the larger OEM GS Aux light kit..
