Blue tooth intercomm / sat nav
on: May 19, 2021, 09:51:58 AM
So, decided to get a sat nav, can't really justify a zumo XT or motorrad  6 but have found a really good sale price on a zumu 396 which I'm tempted towards. So once purchased I'll be needing a bluetooth headset (calls and commands only not i/comm)  Any advice or tips on reasonably priced kit as I've never used them before.

Any advice greatly appreciated thanks. BTW am using a shoei XR1100 at present if that makes a difference

Out of curiosity, why not just use the built in navigation through the TFT with your phone?  I've found it to work as well as any Garmin product I've owned in the past.  If I'm using it for directions, I use the TFT for turn by turn and then leave Waze on my phone so I can keep an eye on traffic hazards and speed traps.
For a headset I'm using the Sena 50s.  Cardo gets really good reviews too, get the one that your riding friends are using so that you can all use the MESH intercom vs std bluetooth.

Thanks R,
Don't really want to use phone and t by t , need to move fast with zumo at bargain price .Appreciate how good the sena is but can't justify spend at present so need to know a decent budget route via bt headset
Appreciate the input  :028:
