New XR rider in Switzerland

Hi everyone, since beginning of November I'm the proud owner of a white F900XR. Since it's wintertime here in Switzerland I could ride it only for about 300 km so far. At least, this gave me the time to add some additional equipment to it (chain oiler, GPS mount, additional power outlet, luggage system). Before the BMW I owned a Honda NC750S that I gave to my son who is just in the process of getting a driver's licence. I was happy with the Honda but I was looking for some more power especially when my wife was riding with me. And giving the Honda to my son was a great opportunity to get me the BMW. I'm desperately looking for spring to come.

Welcome to the group.  We are fortunate in Australia, especially  West Australia, where we ride all year round.  Compared to the Honda the XR will be out of this world.
