Is there anyone have Engine oil leaking and Consumption???
I have f900r 21my, and i ride only 2900km.

First, when i was only 1000km ride, I had oil leaking symptoms on my engine head cover gasket. And bmw dealer fixed it.

But now , my bike has oil leaking on engine head cover gasket (even it was fixed before a month) / head gasket / right cover / under oil pan....
And i checked the oil volume yesterday, it was nearly min line..

So I wonder if anyone have my problems as same.
If you did, please let me know how fixed it

Iím so sad ....

That's not good, have you taken any photos, would be good to see.

You probably need to take it back to the dealer again if it wasn't fixed correctly.

I am sure that BMW does not want unhappy clients. Try to get a loan bike and let them get it right this time. I am sure someone had
similar problem and had the whole engine replaced. Push hard you have nothing to lose. Good Luck :028:

I have a small leak on the oil pan. It's more like a transpiration....I took the bike back to the dealer for 4-5 warranty issues and this remaind unresolved. They told me it's nothing to worry and if it gets worse they will get it fixed. I will probably insist on this before warranty expiration because I would also get a free oil change as a bonus:)) And regarding oil consumption - yes... 1l in 6000km but I actually added til max.. When they change the oil they top it to 1/3. But this probably depends on the driving style also... Me for example... Redline everyday on each ocasion...
