Rear mudguard options
on: November 27, 2020, 10:35:46 PM
Looking at rear mudguard options. First ride in the rain today and the whole rear end covered in crap, including license plate and rear of topbox The fender extender option doesn't look as if it would solve the problem, but what about this?

Givi showing it as an option....
Any thoughts?

Iíve ordered the powerbronze Hugger. I was out last week with another XR with one fitted. And his bike stayed much cleaner than mine. Mine looked like Iíd been off road. The hugger part seems to cover the tyre much better. Itís also replaces the chainguard.

When I look at the Givi website, I can see the RM01 and RM02 Spray Guards.
The RM02 version looks good and might be the answer to the numberplate and topbox getting covered in road filth.
Model specific fitting kits are required and the only fitting kit I can see for a BMW is for the G310GS.
Anybody know if or when there will be a fitting kit for the F900XR  ?

I also stumbled on those GS type mudguards for the F900. Anyone has actual pics of these installed on the bikes ?
