Completely agree and they were really helpful when I spoke to them, they just needed a bike to work something on so I really look forward to seeing what they do and thanks 10tenmen

My bike has been collected today by Cymarc for the measurement and design of a screen brace/security device, I will update on the outcome in the next few weeks. Cheers Gary

I was just thinking about that today as mine is having the display replaced (my own expense as BMW still say that this is not a problem) and then I have to decide if I keep the bike or sell it.
Please let us know when they have a fix as they were really nice guys when I spoke to them.

Will do mate they are very aware of the issue and I’m sure will come up with a fix, have you seen the guy in China 🇨🇳 selling several used screens link below.
Is the cost of £1200 including the fitting and re coding.

So that's where mine went! He even has 6 of them 
I asked BMW for the serial number of mine and they could not even give that to me. I then asked how we would know if mine ever turned up but got the shrugged shoulders. They could not even tell me if it had the datatag on it.
