Red spring is on bikes with ESA, black spring w/o.

In USA too?

On BMW site, build your own section, a white XR with all options (ESA) the pic shows a black spring. Iím ashamed to say Iíve probably done it 50 times.

First off, the pics on the BMW site are wrong.  I've confirmed this with them and they don't seem to care.  Secondly, you sure about that?  I'm looking at the image right now and when I add the Premium Tech Package with ESA the spring is red.  You can easily tell the image of the bike you're looking at has ESA because there is a separate compression cylinder on the right side that says "ZF" on it, and another large assembly on the left side that is the electric preload assembly.  Neither of these are present on non-ESA models and every picture I've seen matches ESA with red and non with black springs.

Totally agree, even my wife said I needed to pay extra for the red spring without even knowing what it meant just because it looked good 😁
