Audio instructions on connected app

Greetings,  suddenly started getting 'white noise' in place of spoken instructions whilst using nav on connected app ??.
All connections never been changed and had been working perfectly till today.
Phone, media and visual notifications still work perfectly .......
Anyone come across this / found resolution

Audio Instructions stopped working for me about two months ago. I assumed it was a bug in an app update.

Mine also worked Sunday but not Monday also android,
Have now deleted app and re-installed but the problem also happening  on new version of app

Interesting - last update for the Android app was back in March. I'll try next week - no riding for me this week unfortunately.

My understanding is that the voice commands use the phone's text-to-voice system, rather than generating a voice from the bike or BMW app.  I know on my iPhone I can change the voice by changing the text-to-voice settings in the Accessibility settings on the phone.  Do Android phones offer a similar system?  Might making changes be worth a try?

Btw, audio instructions still work for me.
