    inner bags for side cases

For those of you with the BMW hard side cases, what do you use for inner bags?  The one's BMW makes are absurdly expensive (of course so were the cases).  I'd love to find a simple cloth or light canvas 30 liter bag that I could use.  All I can find are bags that are the wrong size and too stiff to just cram in there.

    Anybody have some good suggestions?

I use lightweight nylon fold up type shopping bags (fold into a little pouch bit like a pak-a-mac rain coat) (not sure if you have them your side of the pond tho')
Used them in last 3 or 4 bikes as they mould to whatever shape

Also bought these liners for my 800GT panniers (which I now use on my 900XR). Personally found them to be a great buy, and use them for travelling on and off the bike   :152:

How well do they fit in the XR panniers?  In other words, is there a lot of extra space or do they use pretty much all the available space in the hard cases?  The picture on the ad makes them look like there's extra space.

These are available on this side of the pond too so I'm considering them.

    Thanks!

I had a pair of Kathy's Bags for my R1200RT which fit the BMW side cases well. She has a pair for the F900XR but they are pricey. Excellent quality though.

I decided to order a set from RKA as they're $150/pair.  There were a number of people on the BMW MOA site that have had very good results with them.  I had also looked into making a set of duffle bags myself, but proper water-resistant canvas is expensive enough that I wouldn't be saving any money.  And they wouldn't be made as well.

So I think I'm set for my trips this year.  And the snow's finally gone!  Woo Hoo!!!  :046:
