Givi Monokey side carrier (PLO5137CAM) installation - confusing instructions

Guys, I've recently bought Givi Monokey side carrier (PLO5137CAM) along with quick fitting kit (02RKIT) and tried to fit them yesterday on my XR, but I found their both printed as well as online (https://media.givi.it/XN-Prodotti/istruzioni/PLO5137CAM.pdf) instructions super confusing.

Maybe someone has already did that and could share some tips:
    - How do you actually fit the bracket with relocated blinkers (page 5 and 6)? Especially, how do you route cables for blinkers back to connectors inside that "plastic closure"? Leave holes open?
    - Even if instructions have different sequence, but I presume quick fitting kit has to be actually installed first, before mounting/screwing all hardware on the bike (pages 10 and 11)?
    - Page 5 shows left side assembly, but there is no picture on how do you connect on the rights side, as there you have a different mounting point with that bracket over exhaust (item 6)?
    - Page 10 and 11, what does it all "rear side/front side" means - I just see different sides of each part (sometimes top or bottom, let or right), but not rear or front...
    - I know it specific question: I do have SW Motech Street Rack for top case mounted and planning to leave it - which spacers and bolts to use in this case, when mounting side top bracket (page 6, picture B1, part 22) - keep the one from SW Motech (25mm out, 8.4mm in, 13mm height) or one from Givi (18mm out, 8.5mm in, 20mm height)?
    - Any other tips to share?

Again, perhaps it is only my, but I never had a case, where I had to abandon the work, assembly all back as it was, just because I ran out of ideas (and time) on how to mount that damn thing... super confused and ashamed...  :187:

    Many thanks in advance!!!

Hi, I have this Givi side-case holder mounted to my F900XR together with the Givi top case rack. However, I do not have the quick fitting kit.
When I mounted the holder I was also confused about relocating the blinkers. But then I realized that, at least for the Trekker Outback 37 cases, there is absolutely no need to relocate the blinkers. Maybe, that is only necessary when mounted to an F900R.
Item 6 is a deflector to keep the exhaust gas away from the bottom of the right case. It is only attached to the end of the exhaust and has no impact on the mounting of the case holder itself. I found that deflector plug-ugly. So, I removed it after a couple of days and mounted an aluminum plate with a 2 millimeter gap to the bottom of the right case, instead. I'm pretty sure that is not even necessary because I found this plate never more than lukewarm.
Regarding your problems with "front/rear side" I guess what is meant is "inside/outside" ("Aussen-/Rückseite" in German).
I see you're also from Switzerland. If you want to have a closer look send me a PM.

Super - thanks a lot for a prompt reply!!! And perhaps you are absolutely right - there might not be a need to relocate blinkers at all! I am actually planning to use racks with LoneRider semi-rigid bags, so that is going to be another "challenge/experiment". And surely will drop you PM, in case I will stuck an need some visuals. Danke!  :002:

As I can not edit my last post, a quick update (will send more details in a separate post, so others would note it) - apparently, GIVI side rack is not compatible with SW Motech Street Rack...
